How do I reserve dates for my group?
To make a reservation, first, check our calendar on our website www.thelakesidecraftcottage.com for availability. The shaded green dates are available to be booked. You can submit your dates to receive a quote. Your quote will be accepted depending on availability. Please note that quotes over 4 Nights will need to be manually price-adjusted due to the limitations of our website. Once reviewed and adjusted (if needed) you will receive an email that your dates were accepted. It will include a link where you can pay your deposit via credit card or you can send a check. If your deposit is not received within 4 days, we will open the dates back up to the public and you will have to submit a new quote.
What types of payments do you accept?
Check or credit cards are accepted. Please make sure to designate a single person to act as the point of contact for your group reservation and to handle all payments. We cannot accept individual payments from each member of your retreat party
What is the cancelation policy?
Your reservation can be rescheduled if the request is made within 90 days prior to the Rental Period start date. (Your deposit would be carried over to secure the new date.)
Rescheduled arrival date must be made within six months of the original arrival date if there is calendar availability. If this Rental Agreement is canceled more than 180 days before the Rental Period start date you will be refunded the entire deposit. If the Rental Agreement is canceled between 90-179 days before the Rental Period start date, the Renter will forfeit 50% of the deposit. If the rental Agreement is canceled within 30-89 days of the first day of the Rental Period, the Renter will lose the deposit. If the Renter cancels within 14-30 days prior to the first day the Renter will be refunded 50% of the total cost as outlined in the quote. A cancelation 14 days prior to arrival will result in a loss of rent. All notices of cancellation must be made by email at thelakesidecraftcottage@gmail.com.
What about meals?
Your group will have access to the fully equipped kitchen.The kitchen contains all of the needed appliances, bakeware, crockpots, coffee pots, and dishes/utensils you need to prepare your own meals.Just bring the food and beverages!There is a grocery store and restaurants within a few miles of the Craft Cottage.I have taken the time to gather resources from the local restaurants that will make your meals simple should you wish to have them brought in.
How many people can stay?
The Lakeside Craft Cottage can host 15 people.We have 5 guest bedrooms. On the main level, we have a room with a king and a twin, a room with 3 twin beds, and a room with a King bed. There are 2 full bathrooms on the main level one with a walk-in shower and one with a tub/shower. On the lower level, we have a room with 5 twin beds and a room with 2 twin beds. There are 2 full bathrooms on the lower level one with a walk-in shower and one with a tub/shower. The house is rented as a whole, and the price is the same whether you have 2 people or 15. You will want to fill your group for the most economical rate per person.
What time is check-out/check-in?
Check-in is at 12:00 pm on your first night to 12:00 pm on your last day. Late checkout may be available on request the week prior to your stay.
What about pets?
The Lakeside Craft Cottage is a pet-free facility. No pets allowed.
